Position

The main objective of this role is to provide business insights to the financial decision-making process through analysis, financial projections and reporting which support effective business strategies.

The role works closely with the CFO and senior leaders to support management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining and evaluating information to improve efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities include:

• Successful delivery of annual budgets, monthly forecasts and long-range financial plans.
• Prepare the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis, meaningful commentary and management reporting.
• Establishment of a cash flow and forecasting war room and quality of the in-year forecasting (rolling or other) processes.
• Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy, including use of AI and BI tools.

Profile

• Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting or related discipline and professional qualification as CA or CPA.
• Up to five years working in a hybrid financial accounting/business partnering role.
• Must have financial accounting knowledge and understand accruals and revenue recognition as well as budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Financial modelling with significant analytical skillset, including utilisation of Power BI, Dynamics Great Plains and other reporting & budgeting tools.
• Advanced O365 skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to building relationships at all levels/departments.
• Significant influencing skills to work with key stakeholders to make key business decisions.
• NFP or membership based organisation experience preferred.
