The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced wellness and hospitality professional to manage our new Escape Bathhouse in Chatswood and oversee operations at our award-winning Sierra Escape in Mudgee. This role will primarily focus on establishing and running our new wellness facility, while also maintaining our exacting standards at our glamping retreat.

This position will be primarily based in Chatswood, with 1-2 days per month spent at our Mudgee property.

Key Responsibilities

Escape Bathhouse (Chatswood) - Primary Focus

Lead the launch and establishment of our new premium wellness facility

Develop and implement exceptional treatment protocols and service standards

Oversee daily operations and ensure a seamless guest experience

Recruit, train and manage therapists and other wellness staff

Create rosters and manage staffing levels to match demand

Order and maintain inventory of treatment products, linens, and other supplies

Monitor and maintain treatment equipment

Build relationships with suppliers and wellness product partners

Drive business growth through excellent service and strategic initiatives

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Sierra Escape (Mudgee)

Oversee operations of our luxury glamping accommodation during monthly visits

Manage and support on-site staff remotely

Ensure continuation of our award-winning service standards

Assist with staff hiring and training as needed

Respond to escalated guest inquiries

General Management

Work closely with company owners on strategic initiatives

Maintain and enhance our reputation for excellence

Implement and monitor quality control systems

Manage budgets and control expenses

Analyse performance data and provide regular reports

Identify opportunities for improvement and growth

Ensure brand consistency across both properties

Required Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience (3+ years) managing a day spa, bathhouse, or wellness facility

Strong understanding of spa/bathhouse operations and treatments

Experience with wellness business financial management and KPIs

Excellent team leadership and staff development skills

Customer service excellence with luxury clientele

Knowledge of spa/wellness industry trends and best practices

Experience in launching or growing wellness businesses preferred

Hospitality management background beneficial

Willingness to travel to Mudgee (2-3 days per month)
