The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Escape Manager to oversee operations at both Sierra Escape (Mudgee) and our new Escape Bathhouse (Chatswood). This is a unique opportunity to be part of our growing business at an exciting time, working directly with the owners to maintain our award-winning standards and help launch our new venture.

This role will be primarily based in Chatswood, with regular visits to our Mudgee property to ensure seamless operations across both locations.

Key Responsibilities

Sierra Escape (Mudgee)

Oversee day-to-day operations of our luxury glamping accommodation

Manage inventory and ordering of consumables (linen, bathroom products, amenities)

Supervise and coordinate housekeeping and maintenance staff

Handle staff hiring, training, and rostering

Respond to guest inquiries and ensure exceptional guest experiences

Maintain our high standards for this award-winning property

Implement operational improvements and efficiencies

Escape Bathhouse (Chatswood)

Lead the launch and establishment of our new wellness facility

Oversee day-to-day operations

Manage staff hiring, training, and rostering

Order and maintain inventory of linen, treatment products, and other supplies

Ensure exceptional customer service and guest experiences

Implement effective operational procedures and protocols

Drive business growth and development

General Management

Work closely with company owners on strategic initiatives

Maintain and enhance our reputation for excellence

Implement and monitor quality control systems

Manage budgets and control expenses

Analyze performance data and provide regular reports

Identify opportunities for improvement and growth

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations

Required Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience (3+ years) in hospitality management, preferably in a day spa, retreat, or resort environment

Strong operational and staff management skills

Excellent customer service orientation

Financial acumen and budget management experience

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to maintain high standards and drive for excellence

Experience in launching or growing hospitality businesses (preferred)

Willingness to travel between Sydney and Mudgee (2-3 days per month in Mudgee)
