We are searching for a highly skilled and reliable embroidery machine operator to join our family owned and operated business in the Hawkesbury area 2754.

The Casual position offers well paid, flexible hours with an average of approx., 12 hours per week depending upon seasonal influx of work.

The successful candidate must be a team player, have an eye for detail and be able to organize/prioritize work orders efficiently.

Simple digitizing is a must.

Must be able to help out in other areas of the business if and when required.

Retail experience would be a plus but not necessary.

Analyzing and understanding project specifications and client's needs, approvals, before starting each embroidery project by reading job order.

All jobs to be completed only after client's final approval. Any work performed without approvals and are incorrect will be your responsibility.

Provide daily basic machine maintenance such as oiling and test runs prior to commencement of work.

Responsible for maintaining the highest quality on all items produced.

Efficient and safe operation of multi head embroidery machinery.

Enter thread colours into the machine, double check garment for faults/marks, count and style are accurate.

Handles the proper placement of design, hooping and thread colours.

Retrieve designs from the computer and enter it into the embroidery machines.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.

Good time management and problem-solving skills.

Responsible for exceptional cleanliness of embroidery machine sewing areas.

Practice safety in the workplace.

Be able to use general sewing machine for sewing on of patches etc.
