Our client located in Padstow, has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sewing Machinist. This role is permanent and has the opportunity for career development and certainly opportunity to learn and grow within the business. Perks include a picnic day (additional day of leave) and eligibility for a sick leave cash out.

Monday to Friday 0600-1400, with some overtime during busy periods.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Manufacturing Mattresses, Bases and Soft Furnishings

Machine Operating

Packing and labelling goods

Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Manual handling

Manual Dexterity

Be able to follow instructions and complete required task

Possess good time management skills

Be willing to work overtime

To be eligible for the role you must have the following skills/experience:

Available to commence IMMEDIATELY

Must be physically fit (A pre-employment medical is required)

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

A strong safety focus

Hold a current Drivers' License and have reliable transport
