We’re searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated experienced ECT or Diploma-trained educator who is deeply passionate about nurturing and guiding the growth of children aged 0-2. Our ideal candidate will have a child-centered approach, valuing the natural curiosity and developmental milestones of the 0-2 age group. You will bring a creative and thoughtful approach to your work, creating a warm, engaging environment that allows infants and toddlers to explore, learn, and grow through hands-on experiences. Your approach will reflect a strong respect for the individual needs and rhythms of each child, while also fostering development through sensory play, messy play, creative play, and schematic play.

We believe that sensory experiences are essential for young children’s growth, and we encourage exploration of different textures, sounds, smells, and materials. Messy play, as part of our learning philosophy, allows children to engage fully with the world around them, fostering both creativity and problem-solving skills. You will also provide opportunities for creative play, enabling children to express themselves freely and develop their imagination. Schematic play will be encouraged, allowing children to explore patterns, repetition, and spatial awareness in a way that is both fun and meaningful to them.

The successful candidate will understand the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with the children and their families. You will create a space where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to express themselves freely, embracing their natural instincts to explore the world around them. As an educator, you will play a key role in supporting families, offering guidance and working collaboratively to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

In this role, you will develop and document observations of children’s growth, implementing a play-based curriculum that promotes exploration, sensory experiences, and early problem-solving skills. You will also recognise the significance of the environment as a “third teacher,” ensuring the space is thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and wonder in the youngest learners.
