About the Team
The Risk and Insurance Team responsible for enterprise risk and insurance functions. The team has developed a risk framework and provides support across UTS to enable the effective identification and management of the University's business risks, including but not limited to enterprise, financial, operational, environmental, health & safety, fraud & corruption and reputational risks.
About the Role
The primary purpose of the Risk Partner role is to manage and coordinate the risk management function, ensuring that all elements of the risk management framework are up-to-date, fit-for-purpose and effectively implemented.
If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining UTS Enterprise Risk Management components, including Risk Appetite Statements, controls assurance, and reporting.
- Oversee, manage, and improve usability across faculties and business units; provide training and support.
- Support bi-annual faculty and business unit risk assessments, draft risk reports for the Director, and contribute to strategic risk initiatives.
- Deliver risk management and software training, strengthen risk community, and update risk management SharePoint pages.
- Work with senior leadership to enhance risk controls and processes; build knowledge of UTS' insurance risk exposures.

Remuneration & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $138,882 to $145,495 pa (HEW 9)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
