The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is looking for a Vehicle Logistics Officer (VLO) to join our team in West Gosford - 2250.As the primary contact for waste drivers and operators, you'll ensure safe operations and assist with daily challenges. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll handle scheduling, routing, and stakeholder communication. This full-time role (Monday-Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm) offers a chance to contribute to our efficient and safe waste management operations.

What you’ll be responsible for

Optimising bin collection routes for maximum efficiency

Managing administrative tasks, including driver hours and billing reports

Swiftly resolving customer issues with a solution-oriented approach

Addressing operational queries from Customer Services, Sales teams, and clients

Participating in daily driver shift debriefs to capture incidents and issues

Meeting site safety KPI’s including conducting monthly safety toolbox meetings

Ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics operations

What you’ll need to be successful

Excellent computer literacy and communication skills

Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, and Salesforce

Talent for building relationships with diverse stakeholders

Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication and negotiation

Unwavering commitment to health and safety practices

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Strong knowledge of NHVR and COR compliance
