Senior Data Engineer - Sydney - $1,200 per day inc Super

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced, innovative environment. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and contribute to impactful data solutions. There is potential for this contract role to transition into a full-time Staff Software Engineer position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and support enterprise-scale secure data solutions.

Work in a DevOps environment with end-to-end accountability for data assets.

Develop and maintain high-quality, low-maintenance software solutions.

Participate in development, peer code reviews, and testing.

Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of experience in enterprise engineering within a cloud environment.

Strong experience in ETL/ELT data pipelines and performance-optimized data modelling.

Hands-on expertise in C# (.NET) coding and SQL query development.

Hands-on expertise deploying and managing secure GKE clusters.

Extensive experience with data warehousing concepts and BigQuery on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Proficiency in data formatting, wrangling, and preparation for analytics and reporting.

Experience with Salesforce data and APIs is strongly preferred.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with both technical and business teams.
