Agile Tribe Lead
Location: Sydney (Hybrid)
Contract: 12-Month Contract
Rate: Up to $1,300 per day (including super)

About the Role:
As an Agile Tribe Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple squads, driving Agile best practices, and ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance. This role requires a hands-on approach from a technical perspective, ensuring teams are aligned with modern engineering practices and delivery methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and coach cross-functional teams to embed Agile methodologies across the organisation.
• Oversee and support the delivery of key strategic initiatives across multiple squads.
• Establish Agile governance and ensure alignment with the company’s Agile transformation goals.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to drive change, improve processes, and enhance delivery capabilities.
• Foster a high-performing, customer-centric culture within the tribe.
• Ensure Agile ceremonies, cadences, and Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, etc.) are effectively implemented.
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring continuous improvement and value delivery.
• Take a hands-on technical approach, working closely with engineers, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure best practices in software development, cloud technologies, and automation.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as an Agile Tribe Lead, Agile Delivery Lead, or Head of Agile Delivery in a complex, enterprise-scale environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of coaching and mentoring Agile teams.
• Experience working in large financial services organisations or similarly regulated industries.
• Deep expertise in Agile methodologies, frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, LeSS, Kanban), and Agile governance.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across multiple teams.
• Strong ability to drive Agile maturity and transformation within an enterprise setting.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering principles.
