About the role:
Join a global consultancy with a strong presence in financial markets to work on the upgrade and uplift of the front-end of internal applications for one of Australia's leading banks.

What's a typical day look like?

• Lead the design and development of user experiences for a corporate banking software.
• Manage a team of UI engineers offshore while maintaining key relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Act as a hands-on engineer, driving the technical direction and implementation of complex solutions.
• Work in a hybrid management style with a focus on hands on development (80%)
• Collaborate with client counterparts to strengthen strategic partnerships and expand project opportunities.
• Contribute to internal initiatives by sharing best practices and fostering a culture of excellence within the engineering community.

About you:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Frontend designing and building enterprise, scalable software applications.
• Minimum 3 years of leading teams onshore and offshore.
• Strong technical proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Financial Services experience essential within a consulting environment
• A strong understanding of testing, quality assurance, continuous integration, source control, and code reviews.
• Nice to have: .NET, Java, OpenFin (HERE), Electron
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
