Airside Equipment Specialist is seeking to employ Full-time a motivated and knowledgeable Service Technician | Mechanic to join the team.

Technician | Mechanic - Responsibilities, but not limited to:

Scheduled service and preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment including everything from baggage trolleys to diesel tugs, air start units, ground power units, loaders, small engines, stairs, passenger ramps, lifts, heavy vehicles, trailers, vac units and or light vehicles.

Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.

Diagnose & troubleshoot.

Tests and adjusts mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance, diagnoses and tests parts with the assistance of computers.

Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records of work done.

Attend urgent breakdowns - onsite in customer locations.

Technician | Mechanic - Requirements:

Relevant trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.

Experience working on light to heavy mobile plant such as construction, mining, forestry, access or material handling.

Solid mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic skills.

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.

Physical stamina and dexterity to handle physical tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in tight spaces.

A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to gain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)

Driver’s License.
