The ideal candidate will be confident leading a rapidly expanding team and staying across all operational elements during these dynamic periods. With continued national expansion and new service divisions launching across the country, we’re looking for a strong leader to take charge of our Victorian operations and contribute to long-term strategic growth.
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced State Manager (VIC) to oversee the performance, operations, and growth of our Victorian repair division—starting with our flagship Campbellfield site. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll manage day-to-day repair operations while also working closely with the GM and company Directors to scale service offerings, expand capacity, and ensure consistent operational excellence across the state. you will have a 2IC reporting directly to you who will take care of the routine tasks while you focus on high level operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, support, and mentor site managers and technical teams across Victoria
Drive a strong, positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, safety, and high standards
Recruit, onboard, and develop staff to meet evolving business needs
Operational Oversight
Oversee daily operations at the Campbellfield facility, ensuring efficiency and quality across panel, paint, mechanical, and auto electrical work
Ensure teams deliver work on time, on budget, and to the highest standards
Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance workflow and performance
Business Growth & Strategy
Collaborate with the GM and Directors on strategic planning, site development, and service expansion across Victoria
Support the rollout of new service divisions such as Incar Installations and MotorIQ – Specialist Services
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to tendering, quoting, and B2B relationship building
Lead efforts to expand service capacity and increase site profitability
Bonus pay and incentive opportunities available for the right candidate who can contribute to the growth and development of the site and overall business in VIC
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience in automotive workshop or multi-site management
Strong understanding of repair processes across panel, paint, mechanical, auto electrical, and ADAS
Exceptional leadership, communication, and people development skills
Commercially minded with an ability to drive performance and cost control
Comfortable working at both an operational and strategic level
Experience in estimating is highly regarded, including the ability to accurately, prepare detailed and timely quotes, liaise with insurers, and use estimating systems to support efficient workflow management.
Preferred Qualifications
Automotive trade qualification or equivalent industry experience
Leadership or management training
Familiarity with workshop management systems and KPI reporting tools
