About the role

Rapid Demolition is seeking an experienced House Demolition Operator to join our team in Wollongong, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for operating specialised demolition equipment and machinery to safely and efficiently demolish residential properties.

What you'll be doing

• Operate a range of demolition equipment such as excavators, skid steer loaders, and pneumatic breakers to demolish houses and other residential structures
• Carefully dismantle and remove building materials, ensuring the work area remains hazard-free
• Segregate and sort demolition waste into appropriate disposal or recycling streams
• Assist with site preparation and clean-up tasks as required
• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the job site
• Participate in regular toolbox talks and safety briefings

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a House Demolition Operator or similar role in the construction industry
• Proficient in the safe operation of excavators, skid steer loaders, and other demolition equipment
• Strong understanding of demolition techniques and procedures
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Relevant construction industry certifications and licences (e.g. high-risk work licence, demolition licence)
