Financial Assistant – Hybrid Role (Macquarie Park, 2 Days WFH)
Location: Macquarie Park – Right next to the train station!
Salary: $75k package
Hybrid Work: 2 days WFH, 3 days in the office
Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and great at managing stakeholders? We’re looking for a Financial Assistant to support the IT team in managing purchase orders, processing invoices, and ensuring financial accuracy.

About the company:

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Invoice Processing (80% of the role): Entering IT vendor invoices into Concur (no prior Concur experience needed!) and ensuring they align with agreements and payment schedules
- Stakeholder Management: Chasing Project Managers for PO numbers – you’ll need to be a little assertive!
- Generating PO Numbers: Occasionally creating PO numbers when required
- Attention to Detail: Checking for variances and discrepancies in invoices to ensure accuracy
- Procurement & Vendor Management: Assisting with IT vendor setup, maintaining records, and tracking PO usage
- Financial Administration: Reconciling vendor liability accounts and assisting Project Managers with financial tracking
- Supporting IT Operations: Managing the IT team inbox and handling administrative tasks such as phone terminations for departing employees
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong financial and administrative skills
- Experience in invoice processing and procurement is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies
- Proactive approach with great communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable following up with internal teams and ensuring timely responses
