The Role

Joining a Customer Service team of 3, your role will be to look after your very own portfolio of clients moving cargo from all parts of the globe into Sydney. You will be responsible for how their cargo gets here by liaising with international agents and suppliers of your clients cargo movements via sea and air before passing over to the operations and transport teams. Some quoting will also be required for new clients or clients moving from new trade lanes, as well as up to date order management reporting through the Cargowise system for certain clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

• All routings and bookings for your own portfolio of clients
• Liaising with international agents, suppliers and carriers
• Daily contact with internal and interstate teams
• Quotations for one off shipments or new trade lanes
• Order reports for certain clients
• Building rapport and strong working relationships with your clients

Skills & Experience

• Recent Freight forwarding experience
• International logistics understanding
• Customer Service exposure in forwarding, advantageous
• Negotiation & Interpersonal skills
• Air & Sea freight exposure
• Quoting
