What are we looking for?

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Beamline CNC & Plasma Operator to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland. If you have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience working with steel, this is your opportunity to be part of a growing business. The successful candidate will have current experience CNC Plasma machines or similar,

Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings and NC files

Experience operating a beamline machine

Experience operating a plasma in a steel manufacturing environment

Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

A proactive, hands-on approach and ability to work independently

High attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures

Physically fit and able to pass medical

Forklift ticket is desirable

Training & Development opportunities exist.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing structural steel using beamline CNC and Plasma.

Loading and unloading steel on in-feed/out-feed tables

Monitoring machine operations and performing tool changes/minor maintenance

Conducting quality control checks and ensuring full traceability of materials

Maintaining a safe and organized work environment

The ideal candidate will have:

Trade Certificate

Valid QLD Drivers Licence

High Risk Work Licence – LF

Minimum 3 years experience required
