Our client is a growing start-up in the property funds space, with strategies both on-shore in Australia and off-shore. With a highly experienced team, our client seeks to generate growth and income by investing in a diversified portfolio that includes direct property and unlisted property.

Description

As a Fund Accountant, you will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for providing financial analysis to support key decision making and ensure strategic growth of funds.

• Carry out financial analysis and commentary as required.
• Monitor and report on fund performance and carry out all preparation of quarterly, half-yearly and annual fund distributions.
• Prepare and calculate monthly unit prices.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Be responsible for all corporate accounting functions.

Profile

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience within a fund accounting role and have excellent knowledge of statutory and management reporting.

• Experience within property funds or equity managed investments, is essential.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience liaising with key stakeholders and delivering key financial information.
• Knowledge of RG164 compliance is highly desired.
