Operations Manager – Fund Services

About the Role

As Operations Manager, you will lead and develop teams responsible for unit pricing, reporting, and client support based in Melbourne's CBD. You will play a key role in enhancing service delivery, strengthening client relationships, and implementing strategic initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and develop fund accounting teams to deliver high-quality services accurately and on time.

Oversee risk control frameworks, ensuring effective supervision and risk mitigation strategies.

Foster a client-focused culture, promoting service excellence and continuous improvement.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a key escalation point.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business initiatives and enhance operational efficiencies.

Drive and oversee project implementations and business transitions from a fund services perspective.

Work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans for operational enhancement.

Contribute to new business acquisition processes, including client tenders, due diligence, and transition planning.

Your experience:

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in fund administration, unit pricing, accounting, or audit.

Strong management and leadership experience, with a track record of team development and motivation.

A strategic mindset with the ability to implement innovative solutions and drive performance.

Strong knowledge of Superannuation, Managed Investment Schemes, and Life Insurance Companies.

Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Risk and compliance expertise, ensuring robust controls and operational integrity.

Compensation breakdown:

Salary: $220k - $250k base + super + discretionary bonus
