As part of this exciting growth phase, an experienced Operations Manager is sought to lead NSW operations and drive excellence across all aspects of the business.

Role Description:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of warehouse, production, and logistics operations at our NSW facility. This role requires a strategic leader with strong industry experience, a keen eye for quality control, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS). The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring seamless production planning, fleet control, transport logistics, and warehouse efficiency, while maintaining high-quality standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management: Build, develop, and manage high-performing teams while fostering a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Warehouse & Inventory Management: Oversee warehouse operations, including ASRS storage systems, ensuring efficient material handling and stock control.

Production Oversight: Supervise production processes, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained, particularly for the paint line, where attention to fine details is critical.

Logistics & Transport Management: Coordinate transport and fleet control, ensuring compliance with load restraint regulations and efficient movement of goods.

Process Optimization & Automation: Leverage new automation technologies to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

Quality Assurance: Maintain strict quality control measures, ensuring all products meet the highest standards before dispatch.

Production Planning: Develop and implement efficient production schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation and minimal downtime.

Systems & Reporting: Utilize Microsoft Dynamics and other WMS tools to monitor and optimize operations, providing data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in operations, warehouse, or production management within the aluminium or related manufacturing industries.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, mentor, and manage teams effectively.

In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and production planning.

Exposure to automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) and other modern warehouse technologies.

Hands-on experience with logistics, transport, and fleet control.

Detail-oriented mindset with a strong emphasis on quality control and process optimization.

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems.

Salary and Benefits

Base $180k - $200k | Super 11.5% | Car Allowance
