  • Manage complex workers compensation claims effectively.
  • Apply relevant legislation, including the Workers Compensation Act 1987, Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998, WHS Act 2011, and associated regulations.
  • Develop and implement claims management and health and safety strategies.
  • Provide high-level advice on injury management and rehabilitation plans within a risk management framework.
  • Drive early intervention initiatives, including psychological claims management.
  • Identify strategies to reduce claim duration and costs in a healthcare setting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Effectively manage time, prioritise tasks, and make strategic decisions for return-to-work processes.
  • Extensive experience in complex workers compensation claims management.
  • Strong understanding of relevant workers compensation and WHS legislation.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute claims management strategies.
  • SIRA accreditation – Return to Work Coordinator Certificate.
