About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring junior accountant looking to gain hands-on experience in SMSF administration and compliance.

This full-time role in Fremantle, Western Australia will see you play a key part in supporting the company's mission to provide expert self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Collecting supporting documents for SMSF annual returns and financial statements

Manage SMSF compliance and regulatory requirements

Assist with SMSF establishment, wind-ups and rollovers

Maintain accurate records and reconcile transactions for SMSF accounts

Assist with general administrative tasks related to SMSF operations

What we're looking for

Formal accounting qualification (e.g. CA, CPA or equivalent)

1-3 years' experience in SMSF administration or a similar accounting/finance role (preferred but not essential)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software (BGL 360 experience is a plus)

Basic knowledge of superannuation and SMSFs (preferred but not essential)

Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to effectively communicate financial information to clients

Proactive and customer-focused approach

Willingness to learn and grow within the SMSF industry
