Palmdale Lawn Cemetery & Memorial Park providing Cremations, Burials & Memorialisation. Creightons Funeral Service providing At Need & Prepaid Funerals. Greenway Chapel & Memorial Gardens providing Chapel, Cremations (at Palmdale) and Memorialisation. Western Districts Chapel, Lawn Cemetery & Memorial Park proving Cremations, Burials and Memorialisation.
THE ROLE:
The Palmdale Group requires a motivated, reliable and hard-working person to join their team at Palmdale. The position of Accounts Administrator. Reporting to the Senior Accounts Administrator & Financial Controller.
The Accounts Administrator will be responsible for assisting with the following
DUTIES:
- Assist with all aspects of Accounts payable for the Palmdale Group entities, supplier invoice data entry and monthly reconciliations.
- Assisting with ATO payments.
- Assist with all aspects of Accounts Receivable duties related to Palmdale Group entities including invoicing, receipting & reconciliation.
- Data entry to maintain records for Prepaid Funeral plans contracts & installments.
- Assist with the processing & reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Prepare general Ledger reconciliation as directed by Financial Controller.
- Assist in the collation of relevant paperwork for presentation to auditors.
- Liaise with all departments to assist in the timely processing of invoices and receipts.
- Assist with the processing of payroll.
- Assisting the Senior Accounts Administrator & Financial Controller.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills.
- High proficiency in the operation of electronic systems & accounting software including Excel.
- Always maintaining Confidentiality.
- Strong Financial administration skills and experience managing paper-based records and documentation.
- Display time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Contribute to a positive working environment.
- Previous experience in administration or an accounting role is essential.
- Essential to this role is your ability to work effectively as part of a team to ensure an efficient and high level of service is provided to management, community and staff.
- Responsibility for always maintaining a high standard of personal presentation.
- Undergo a pre-employment medical.
