We are seeking a permanent fulltime Production Operator to join our Production team, to be located at our purpose-built Northgate facility.

Reporting to the Production Coordinator, we have great opportunities for a self-starter to take responsibility for working a manufacturing work centre and upskill in other areas of our manufacturing facility. This role will require the successful candidate to follow documented procedures, complete batch documentation, performance process checks and optimise the performance of our equipment. Our new Production Operator will proactively contribute towards the continuous improvement of our processes, equipment, work practices and systems.

This role requires an ability to work independently within our fast-paced and friendly team environment in a GMP compliant Production facility, where loyalty and high work ethic is valued and rewarded. This could be a Day Shift appointment working from 6am- 2:30pm, 5 days per week or an afternoon appointment working from 2:15pm – 10:45pm, 5 days a week (afternoon shift attracts a 15% loading on the hourly rate).

Key responsibilities include:

Involved in all aspects of Packing specifically, cleaning and Troubleshooting.

Complete all tasks with a high level of accuracy and in line with documented procedures at all times.

Assist in the production of goods in accordance with the production schedule.

Proactively practice and abide by Metagenics Health and Safety policy.

Clean the facility and equipment as directed.

Skills and Experience:

Experience working in a regulated environment in food, natural medicines or pharmaceuticals industry

Experience within a production facility, good knowledge of GMP processes ideal

Strong written and verbal communication skills
