Our client, a National Food Distributor, has a warehouse located in Townsville and is seeking experienced and newly licensed Forklift Operators / Pick Packers to join their expanding team. NO forklift licence but willing to get in the near future- please apply!

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operations: Safely load, unload, move, and stack products in the warehouse.
• Pick & Pack: Ensure the correct items and quantities are accurately picked and packed for our valued customers.
• Stay Organised: Keep your workspace tidy and adhere to safety and hygiene standards.
• Team Up: Collaborate with your teammates to keep everything running smoothly.

Requirements:

• Forklift Licence: Valid and ready to use. Experienced and newly licensed operators are welcome to apply (training available if you have just received your license). NO forklift licence but willing to get in the near future.
• Warehouse Experience: Previous work in a warehouse is preferred. Experience in food distribution is a bonus, but not required-we will teach you!
• Physical Strength: Able to handle manual tasks and stay active throughout the day.
• Attention to Detail: Precise and careful with your work.
• Communication Skills: Work well with others and communicate clearly.
• Flexibility: Willing to work afternoon shifts.
• Compliance: Ability to pass a drug/alcohol test and pre-employment medical.
