We are looking for strong & energetic Production Workers to assist in our finished product packing roles, as well as more skill specific roles such as Warehouse Operators.

About the role

An opportunity has become available for several specific Production Worker roles to join our great Production Team in the packing and warehousing areas.

Reporting to Line Leaders, you will be responsible for production activities that may involve constant heavy manual handling of up to 5kg, moving products and packaging materials, making and packing product, and following set production schedules in a fast-paced environment.

During your work you will also be required to ensure that you maintain production standards, while working towards improving productivity without compromising Picasso Foods standards.

A variety of functions depending on the area you work will include but not limited to:

Working at the end of the production line unloading product with speed and accuracy

Working in either hot or cold environments (warehouse area, cold storage & blast freezer)

Machine Operating

Assisting in the manufacturing process

Completing paperwork & stock take

Following health and safety standards

Ensuring safe and efficient return of stock to warehouse

Maintaining hygiene (GMP) standards

Adhering to Food Safety (HACCP) standards

Performing other tasks assigned

To be a success in this role you will have:

MUST BE physically fit with ability to work in face paced environment

Ability to lift 5kg repetitively

Ability to work in hot or cold environments

Food Production experience desirable

Knowledge of HACCP requirement on the production floor

GMP understanding

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Awareness of Food & People Safety

Ability to communicate around tasks allocated

Ability to communicate with Team members and work as a Team
