The role: Working on our reception desk, you will be responsible for ensuring we do not merely deliver service but do more than is expected to create meaningful and authentic moments of hospitality. Checking guests in and out daily, making reservations over the phone, running daily reports to identify any special requests, anticipating guests service needs, and complying with policies and procedures. You will listen to, and resolve guest's complaints or concerns, but there will always be a manager there to support you when required.
To set you up to succeed: Two weeks of structed training will be provided to you covering the tasks required on both the morning and afternoon shifts. You will also be assigned a buddy who will support you as you learn the system and resort features.
The hours: Casual role available working 30 hours a week, across a 7-day rotating roster.
Ideally you will be an Australian Citizen or Resident and can commit to a min of at least 6 months with us or more.
The shifts: 7am - 3pm and 3pm - 11pm.
Rates: Mon - Fri $32.25, Sat $38.70, Sun $45.15
We are looking for someone who can be flexible to work these rotating shifts.
Requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to requests promptly, efficiently and courteously
- Experience working in a 4-5 star resort/hotel front office environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera Cloud would be highly regarded
- Ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
- Full availability to work weekends and public holidays
- Remain calm and effective in emergency and high pressure situations
- Current drivers licence essential for this role
- First Aid Certificate desirable but not essential
