About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic new team member to step into a Guest Service Agents (Casual) role (10 - 20 hours per week) to join our successful and motivated team.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

• Anticipate and attend to the guest's needs and desires immediately.
• Offer a warm and friendly salutation to hotel guests as they enter and depart from the Hotel.
• Check guests in and out with efficiency and friendliness and in accordance with the established Hotel procedural guidelines.
• Communicate with all Hotel Departments such as Housekeeping and Food & Beverage Departments, to ensure that all guests needs are met.
• Be fully knowledgeable with regard to hotel rates and facilities as well as the local area.
• Comply with all of the hotel's operational policies & procedures as well as maintain a clean & safe working environment.

Skills & experience

• Impeccable presentation
• Have the ability to learn quickly and adapt to the constant change and demand of the Darwin lifestyle
• A background and understanding in Front Office/Reception with experience in OPERA PMS is preferable.
• Outstanding customer service skills
• A positive team player with a Can-Do attitude
• The ability to multi-task as well as work under pressure
• Flexible with hours and days able to work (7 days a week, rotating roster)
