About the role

Doing it Different (DiD) is looking for experienced NDIS Support Coordinators and Psychosocial Recovery Coaches to join our team on a contract basis in Adelaide, SA. In these diverse and rewarding roles, you will play a crucial part in supporting participants with a range of disabilities and mental health challenges to achieve their goals and live independently within the community.

We are seeking fabulous humans who are passionate and values driven to join our team, to deliver ethical and knowledge driven quality supports to participants who are choosing DiD. We are independent and only provide Support Coordination and Psychosocial Recovery services.

What you'll be doing

Collaborating with participants to develop and implement high-quality NDIS plans that take a holistic approach to addressing their needs

Coordinating and facilitating access to a wide range of support services, including allied health, community programs, and housing assistance

Walking alongside participants to ensure their rights are protected and their needs are met

Providing psychosocial support and coaching to assist participants in their recovery and personal development

Monitoring and reviewing participant progress, modifying plans as needed to ensure continued positive outcomes

Maintaining detailed records and reporting on participant progress to the NDIA and other stakeholders

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in a health, social work, community services and other relevant fields

Minimum 1 year experience working in NDIS Support Coordination or Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, lived experience and/or transferable skills and extensive experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with participants

Strong problem-solving and advocacy skills, with a solutions-focused approach

Thorough understanding of the NDIS and relevant legislation and regulations

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Compassion, empathy, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities and mental health support needs

Have excellent organisation, communication and time managements skills, follow up and get the job done!
