Goldfields Women's Health Care Centre (GWHCC) has expanded our offering with Goldfields Navigation Services – a dedicated initiative designed to connect individuals, families, and carers with the right support when they need it most.

We’re looking for a Support Coordinator and Support Administrator to help individuals, families, and carers navigate the complexities of NDIS, mental health, aged care, and carer support.
These are casual positions (approx 18 hours per week), with the potential to grow as Goldfields Navigation Services expands. As a newly established service, we’re scaling up to meet community needs—so this role may evolve over time.

We provide NDIS Level 1 & Level 2 Support Coordination, general service connection, information brokerage, and advocacy for those seeking assistance in mental health, aged care, and carer support across the Goldfields region.
Our Support Coordinator acts as the conduit between NDIS participants, information and service providers to empower participants to lead, and have control over their own lives
Sound good so far? Here’s a bit more about what your day to day will look like:
- Work collaboratively with participants to understand their NDIS plans and connect them to relevant services, supports, and service providers, ensuring a professional, proactive, and person-centred approach.
- Support participants in negotiating service agreements, setting up appointment bookings, and resolving barriers to access services in education, health, and justice.
- Provide capacity-building support to participants, enabling them to design and manage their supports while fostering independence and resilience.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and feedback for internal and external stakeholders, including NDIS providers, government agencies, and other organisations.
- Assist participants in optimising their plans to ensure they get the most out of funded supports.
As the Support Administrator you will ensure the smooth and timely administration of NDIS agreements and billing, including process improvements where identified. Provide administration and project support the Support Coordinator's to empower participants to lead, and have control over their own lives.
Here’s a bit more about what your day to day will look like:
- Establishing and updating service bookings in line with service agreements and client plan data
- Ensure client plan amounts and bookings are accurately reflected in the relevant systems including expiry dates and plan usage milestones
- Provide ad-hoc activity reports to the Support Coordinator and CEO
- Ensure claims are complied with NDIS Guidelines and relevant regulations.
- Support the CEO and Support Coordinator's by undertaking administration tasks such as word processing, data entry, ordering and purchasing necessary stationery and equipment, mail management, filing and maintaining Centre’s facilities and equipment.
- Manage NDIS Portal and client Plan administration for the relevant clients including:
- Liaise with the Support Coordinator to process NDIS portal claims and billing

To be successful in this position you will need to:
- Demonstrated understanding of needs of people with physical and intellectual disabilities, preferably within an NDIS environment.
- Knowledge of the sector or related sectors
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to work across a number of tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail
- Uphold the Centre values and reputation
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and the ability to achieve organisational and team values, goals and objectives
