About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and organised team member to join our Perth team in a hybrid Customer Service & Internal Sales role.
In this position, you will work closely with our National Customer Service & Internal Sales Teams to coordinate sales and customer service operations for our Canning Vale branch. Your responsibilities will include managing inbound and outbound customer interactions, handling leads, processing orders, maintaining CRM records, offering trade counter service, and supporting the Sales Development Manager (SDM).
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls, emails, web inquiries, and face to face trade counter customer service and sales.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, providing customer with innovative solutions and product recommendations, including following up on freight and delivery inquiries as required.
- Generate quotes, process orders, follow up with customers, and track opportunities to maximise sales.
- Conduct and manage outbound prospecting and site & lead qualification, identifying new potential business.
- Accurately update all customer interactions and activities in the CRM system.
- Provide high level support to the Sales Development Manager (SDM), including appointment setting and calendar management.
- Perform various operations and warehousing tasks if needed.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role (preferably in the construction industry or a product-based environment).
- Experience using ERP & CRM systems (NetSuite & Numerik highly regarded).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and work efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem solver.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Passionate about providing support and achieving great results.
