Position Purpose:

This Customer Service & Inside Sales person will have the opportunity to be the contact for veterinarians, practice staff, wholesalers, and pet owners.

This position involves answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and supporting sales and administration functions.

A strong focus is placed on sales activities, customer relationships, and effective communication and organizational skills to meet sales targets and deliver excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
• Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues where authorized.
• Redirect calls as necessary and ensure customer satisfaction.

Sales:

• Drive inside sales efforts through outbound calls to achieve campaign targets and sales objectives.
• Support field sales teams by distributing marketing materials and aiding in promotional campaigns.
• Upsell and cross-sell products across the company's expanding portfolio.

Administration:

• Manage order entries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure smooth order processing and logistics.
• Maintain accurate data in the company’s ERP and CRM systems.
• Handle backorders and the credit process, ensuring proactive communication with wholesalers.

Key Stakeholders:

• Internal teams: Collaborate with colleagues to foster a respectful, credible, and trusting work environment.
• Customers: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships.
• Suppliers/Contractors: Communicate effectively to meet business needs.

Experience:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics ERP, Office, and Salesforce CRM (preferred but not essential).
• Previous experience in telesales or customer service roles is highly regarded.
• A solid understanding of veterinary practices and the pharmaceutical industry is an asset.
