About the position:
Addressing clients overarching marketing strategy, you will be responsible for developing digital advertising strategies & communications planning through end to end tactical campaign solutions.
A strong operational knowledge of digital disciplines, associated tools/platforms is required across either SEM, Programmatic or Social inc. Data/ Analytics & Website Conversion rate Optimisation.
You will develop into being a subject matter expert across SEM, Programmatic & Social who can negotiate, develop, manage & maintain media partner/ stakeholder relationships, driving media planning & tactical campaign execution & performance alongside account growth through best practice, keeping up with digital know how, tools & platforms through discipline expertise, alongside remaining updated across wide categories & industry trends.
Responsibilities
Client
Your focus is billable planning, set-up & campaign management (inc. ad-operations), in line with wider advertising, media & marketing strategy/ direction, including end-to-end campaign set-up, management & reporting/ analysis.
5 Key Pillars
Portfolio & Campaign Management; SEM & Programmatic + Social
Oversight & direction of your portfolio, guiding ad-operations specialists, including on the tools, campaign set-up & campaign management, including ad-operations/ attribution.
Translate campaign activation & performance insights into actionable next steps & media recommendations
Delegate & manage wider ad-operations, ensuring SLAs are adhered to & on quality
Relationship management - Develop & manage client and media partner relationships, be called upon as a trusted advisor & favourite to partner with
Strategy
Develop our SEM/ Programmatic + Social offering in partnership with discipline specialists, with a combination of brand, demand generation & performance lens
Translate higher-level strategic direction into effective channel planning/ tactical execution
Develop roadmaps, tactical strategies, media plans, presentations, insights, next steps & recommendations for existing and new accounts, aligned with client's overarching marketing strategy.
Planning
Develop, translate & communicate planning proposals through presentations, bridging the gap between overarching communications strategy & complex tactical executions - bringing to life our approach through imagery, diagrams & client-friendly explanations
Briefing and collaborating with media partners/publishers/vendors/suppliers & internal stakeholders, inc. wider ad operations to develop the best media mix and strategies.
Work closely with cross-functional teams & people across offline, ad-operations, creative, analytics & marketing teams, ensuring cohesive campaign execution
Stakeholder collaboration, defining target audiences, campaign objectives, and key success criteria
Ad-Operations
SEM, Programmatic + Social planning, platform execution, management & reporting including attribution, analysis, insights & recommendations
Build, optimise & manage SEM, Programmatic & Social advertising campaigns
Complete, attribution, measurement & tracking of all campaign activity
Set up, launch, manage & optimise performance & brand advertising campaigns
Develop & automate internal & external reporting/ insight dashboards, leveraging funnel data warehouse & looker visualisation dashboards
Manage appropriate bid strategies/ tactics to meet account/ client key success criteria
Pacing/monitoring budgets towards optimal performance & delivery, ensuring zero overspend
Monitor and adjust/optimise campaigns in real-time to maximize efficiency and meet goals
Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance, providing performance, insights, and next steps & recommendations through monthly & post-campaign analysis reports/ presentations
Automate reporting through analytics tools, leveraging data warehousing & visualisation tools, including funnel/ looker, Google, social, programmatic/ digital platforms to track and report on key performance metrics
Business Development
Reporting, including addressing/ presenting insights, next steps/ recommendations
Digital planning & tactical campaign execution across digital disciplines for your portfolio
Communicate new thinking/ ideas & solutions through recommendations & pro-active presentations
Develop case studies reflecting achieved performance/ test learnings
Provide regular updates on campaign performance and insights to stakeholders
Finance
Accurate media bookings, insurance, invoicing, account queries & hold reports responses
Enter bookings into Spectra upon media plan sign-off as per SLA
Swift proforma authorisation
Ensure insurance is raised or the activity is billed before activating the activity
Respond & resolve account queries & hold reports as per SLA
Managing & tracking budgets, vendor investment & revenue across internal activity, clients, partners & media bookings fees, inc. commissions
Ensure client/ plan approval & margins are maintained across all bookings
Develop & maintain internal & external reporting requirements
Document & maintain billable head hours, weekly
Document standard operating procedures, standardising & sharing information/ processes
Department administrative & documentarian requirements
Essential requirement:
Strong operational knowledge of digital disciplines and their respective tools and platforms.
Proven experience in programmatic advertising and digital marketing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
