Through exceptional governance, project management and communication skills, you will play a key role in supporting the Furniture Fixtures and Equipment Procurement team apply best practice governance, effective project delivery, and efficient processes for the delivery of FFE for the Queensland Health capital infrastructure program.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate the development of relevant program and project documentation and apply appropriate program and project management techniques, methodologies and tools, to ensure quality outcomes are delivered across the project lifecycle.
  • Engage and maintain strong mutually-beneficial professional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of project outputs.
  • Proactively monitor, control and drive performance (including realisation of benefits) against program and project plans, deliverables and schedules.
  • Oversee the coordination and preparation of program and project reporting documentation, including status reports, executive and Board reports, and other ad-hoc reporting.
  • Facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business, and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.

About you

We are searching for someone with:

  • Demonstrated background in successfully coordinating complex and large-scale projects, applying project methodologies and providing advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques and tools.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal competence, including resilience and the ability to positively influence and motivate others in a significant environment of reform and change.
  • Proven issue identification, analytical and research skills, problem solving skills and a demonstrated ability to develop innovative, sensitive and practical solutions to complex issues.
