Inclusion Support Assistant / Educator | Village Early Education Bendigo East, Victoria.
We are growing our Village and are looking for a passionate and experienced Inclusion Support Educator to support the learning and development of children with additional requirements in our centre. To be considered for this role you must be energetic, creative and passionate about working with children who have additional needs. Patience and the ability to redirect effectively and manage challenging behavior is a must.
As an Inclusion Support Educator you will be required to assist with the whole group, however there is a large element of one on one care required for some children with additional needs. The successful applicant must have previous experience in a similar role and also have the drive and capability to implement and introduce strategies and processes into our program.
Our Village Education Bendigo East is a beautiful, purpose built facility, with wonderful, unique outdoor spaces. Our natural play spaces encourage children to explore and discover.
To be considered for this opportunity you will be required to be able to demonstrate the following:
Previous experience in a similar role assisting children with additional needs.
Assisting with monitoring, recording and evaluating children's learning and experiences and the ability to make adjustments to the program where necessary.
Supporting and guiding children's behaviour in positive ways.
Be passionate about building connections with families and the community.
Work collaboratively with fellow educators to develop and implement effective programs which considers each child's knowledge, strengths, interests, culture and wellbeing.
The ability to critically reflect on each child's learning and development.
Develop your skills and abilities while completing high-quality documentation.
Inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the Centre for children, their families and your colleagues.
Be passionate about high quality education and continuous improvement.

To be eligible to become part of our Village you must have or be working towards the following:
Prior experience and or qualifications in the disability sector
Sound practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF
Current Working with Children’s Check
A completed Cert III and or Diploma in Children’s Services is not required for this position but is desirable
