ABOUT THE ROLE
Prace College is seeking an experienced education support worker with previous leadership roles in schools.
You will be part of a dynamic team passionate about helping students to achieve their goals through education. The role requires a dedicated professional to provide impactful and adaptive classroom support, as well as coordinator and lead our education support team.
Responsibilities and duties will be across two campuses (Mernda and Reservoir):
Coordination, supervision and support of the education support team
Classroom support
Supervising and Assisting Students
Administration, record-keeping and reporting
Child safety
Prace College is an Independent Specialist School that provides supportive, flexible and inclusive education to meet the needs of at-risk young people, and supports them to re-engage with and participate in learning, community and work activities. We are a not-for-profit organisation.
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications and experience:
- Certificate III in Education Support or similar, and experience in an education support role preferably with students aged 15-18
- Minimum 3 years in an education support role
- Experience leading a team.
