Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten Pakenham is looking for an Inclusion Support Educator to work 22.5 per week who is passionate and enthusiastic about Early Years education. The role is to work with a team of educators and support the learning and development of children with additional requirements in our centre.

As an Inclusion Support Educator, you will be required to assist with the whole group, however there is a large element of one-on-one care required for some children with high support needs. You will use your passion and enthusiasm for early childhood education to include children with a high support needs, alongside their developing peers, so all children have genuine opportunities to access, participate and achieve positive learning outcomes. Patience and the ability to redirect & effectively guide challenging behaviour is a must.

About you:

We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Must hold Diploma or Certificate III in Education and Care
• Available to work rotating shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm
• Knowledge and understanding of Children's Services Regulations and National Quality Standards
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
• Patience and the ability to redirect effectively and manage challenging behaviour
• Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
