Ready to spray some serious industrial gear?

A legendary, family-run Aussie company, building badass road-making machines for over 100 years, is looking for a top-notch experienced industrial spray painter to join their crew in Melbourne. Yeah, you heard right – 100 years! They've got a killer workshop, and you could be part of it.

The Gig:

Full-time, permanent gig.

Early starts, early finishes: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Mon-Thurs, 6:00 am - 12:00 noon Fridays. (Yeah, that's a sweet Friday arvo!)

You'll be spraying heavy metal – think big, tough machinery.

It's not just spray painting, though. You'll be jumping in to help the fitters and the team when needed. Gotta be keen to get your hands dirty!

What You'll Be Doing:

Prep surfaces like a boss: clean, sand, prime – you know the drill.

Mix paints like a pro: get the colours spot-on.

Spray like a legend: using spray guns, maybe even powder coating, dip or flow coating.

Know your coatings: epoxy, polyurethane, zinc – all that good stuff.

Keep it safe: PPE, safe handling of materials – no shortcuts.

Help out the team: jump in where needed, keep things moving.

Keep the gear running: looking after your spray guns and machines.

Know your WFT and DFT.

Know your way around a paint pot.

You're Our Mate If:

You've got solid experience with Zinc/Epoxy paints in an industrial setting.

You're not afraid to get stuck in and help out.

You're reliable, on time, and ready to work.

You're a team player, but you can also smash it solo.

You're keen to learn about heavy machinery.

You've got an eye for detail and take pride in your work.

Bonus Points If You've Got:

Mechanical skills.

Confined space or working at heights tickets.

Forklift or truck licenses.

Experience with heavy vehicle gear.
