Applicants will need to have a strong technical knowledge in the automotive Industry.

The successful candidate must be a qualified spray painter with a trade certificate and a current manual driver's license. You will be part of a highly skilled team that is responsible for repairing vehicles to the highest standard.

• Maintain or operate equipment to clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill dents or otherwise prepare items for application of paint, lacquer or other protective coats
• Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment
• Prepare surfaces, using power tools and hand tools
• Sand body areas to be painted and cover bumpers, windows, and trim with masking tape or paper to protect them from paint.
• Proficient in water-based Axalta paints with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified trades person is an advantage.
• Training on site if required.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

• Have completed a Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology (AUR32416).
• Be a Trade Qualified Spray Painter
• Have experience in Collision Repair Industry
• Have full Australian working rights and a valid manual driver's license.
