Essential qualifications:

Hold or are currently studying towards a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care as recognised by ACECQA and looking to study a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education).

Hold an approved Working With Children Check.

Hold an ACECQA-approved First Aid Certificate and CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.

Hold a current ACECQA-approved certificate in Child Protection.

Essential attributes required for this role:

- Readily able to lead and develop a team of passionate educators to deliver a high-quality cycle of planning, curriculum and outcomes for each child in your preschool-aged room.

- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, including the ability to apply related learning outcomes, principles and practices into your pedagogy to create a secure and stimulating learning environment for our wonderful, enrolled children.

- Previous experience in educating and caring for children in a regulated early childhood education and care service for a minimum of one year as an Early Childhood Teacher or three years if in possession of a Diploma of ECEC and willing to enrol in a Bachelor of Education (ECE)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Able to easily form and maintain respectful and collaborative partnerships with children, families, and colleagues.

- Proven skills in documenting children's learning through observation and reflective practices

- Commitment to creating an inclusive, engaging and fun learning environment for all children.

- Experience in a leadership and mentoring role, with the ability to ‘lead through example’.
