About you
You will be an exceptional degree-qualified Early Childhood Teacher, have an excellent understanding of inclusive and family-centred early childhood practice and a willingness to share your knowledge and to grow and learn.
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll work with a team of early childhood professionals to deliver SDN’s innovative, high quality and inclusive program for children, while building strong, meaningful relationships with children and families, and delivering the support of the SDN village to their lives.

About the role
In this role you will take the lead in the development, delivery and evaluation of a quality early learning program for children, catering to the individual children’s strengths, interests and needs. You will do this through actively creating a stimulating, positive and developmentally appropriate environment to foster and support all facets of child development. You will also lead and implement processes that support consultation with children and families.
You will need:
- University qualifications in Early Childhood Education and registration with NESA
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and the value of neurodiversity
- Skill in providing quality experiences and inviting learning environments for children
- Experience with pedagogical practice informed by the Early Years Learning Framework and best practice in inclusion
- Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and the implications for centres
- Understanding of the development of children, their health, hygiene and nutritional needs
- Current Senior First Aid certificate
