About the business

The Shire of Narembeen is a small rural Local Government located 283kms southeast of Perth, with a population of fewer than 1,000 people. The Narembeen economy is driven by agricultural and engineering industries supported by medical, retail, and government services.

The Shire operations are managed by the Chief Executive Officer and an Executive Management Team made up of the Executive Manager Corporate Services and the Works Manager, who collectively manage a workforce of approximately 25 full-time equivalents.

About the role

The Community Resource Centre is seeking an enthusiastic team member who will enjoy working with a tight-knit group of staff to provide excellent external and internal customer service.

The ideal applicant will be well presented, self-motivated and energetic with a friendly personality, attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, a commitment to customer care, cash handling and receipting experience.

This role has the option for flexible working arrangements, with the opportunity to upskill and develop a career with the Shire of Narembeen. Experience

No experience is required, however previous experience in a similar role, especially in Local Government, is highly desirable.
