FutureYou has partnered up with a fantastic global company to search for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Implementation Lead to manage the end-to-end implementation of the new payroll system. This role will oversee the migration of payroll data, ensure system accuracy, and work closely with HR, IT, and other departments to meet business requirements and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of the payroll system, ensuring smooth execution from planning through post-implementation support
• Oversee the entire payroll process during implementation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Collaborate with HR, IT, finance, and other departments to ensure system functionality aligns with organisational needs
• Manage the migration of payroll data from legacy systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
• Conduct thorough testing of the new payroll system to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues before going live
• Provide training and support to payroll teams and stakeholders on new system features and functionalities
• Address payroll discrepancies and provide timely solutions during and after implementation
• Prepare and submit accurate payroll reports and maintain up-to-date documentation for all system configurations and processes
• Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related inquiries during the implementation process
• Involvement in HR and Payroll projects to improve processes and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in payroll system implementation or HRIS implementations (leading the project)
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, EBA, awards, and legislation
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of payroll management
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with internal teams and external auditors
• Proficient in payroll software and systems - ideally Preceda
