Located in Carseldine with 2 days WFH, contract through till 28/11/2025.

About the Role:
As a Business Analyst, you will facilitate the development of business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, and perform in-depth business analysis to support security risk reduction initiatives. You will work closely with key stakeholders to document current state processes, identify pain points, and design optimized future state processes aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and document business analysis approach, stakeholder engagement strategies, and communication plans.
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyse business, functional, and change impact requirements.
• Manage relationships with external implementation partners to ensure solutions align with business needs.

• Manage and document business requirements, ensuring traceability.
• Develop detailed business requirements specifications and manage business issues effectively.

• Create functional specifications for system requirements and interfaces.
• Document configuration requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Solution Architect, Business Application Owners, and IT subject matter experts.
• Carry out other business analysis activities as directed by the Project Manager.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the public sector.
• Strong background in information security, cyber security, vendor, and supply chain risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to document and analyze current and future state business processes effectively.
• Experience working in project-based environments with cross-functional teams.
