With an established reputation for excellence, we are expanding our team and looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join us and help drive growth in this ever-evolving industry.

Job Overview:

As the Business Development Manager for our Heavy Haulage division, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, and expanding our market presence. You will play a critical role in driving sales, managing key accounts, and developing long-term strategic plans to ensure the continued success and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the heavy haulage sector, including target markets, client acquisition, and sales strategies.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.

Market Research: Analyise industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to proactively adjust sales and marketing strategies.

Negotiation & Sales: Lead negotiations for new contracts and ensure the company's services are competitively positioned in the market.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Operations, Marketing, and Logistics to ensure the smooth delivery of services and client satisfaction.

Reporting & Metrics: Regularly report on progress, sales performance, and market insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, sales, or account management in the heavy haulage, logistics, or transportation industry.

Strong understanding of the heavy haulage sector, including regulations, equipment, and client needs.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to identify and seize business opportunities in a highly competitive and dynamic market.

Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

A results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
