Achieve Group Australia is seeking candidates for a Fire Ant Survey & Treatment Officer role. This position involves field-based work assessing and managing fire ant populations. - Immediate Start

Location: Berrinba / Mutdapilly (or another DPI SEQ office considered)

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake training in fire ant density measurement methods.
• Conduct rapid assessment surveys before and after aerial treatments.
• Use scientific methods to determine fire ant densities and treatment impact.
• Maintain detailed records in accordance with established protocols.
• Liaise with team members, stakeholders, and landholders to support treatment processes.
• Assist with delivery of treatment products and equipment when required.
• Work independently, using initiative to manage project tasks and resolve issues.

Mandatory Requirements:.

• A current, unrestricted ‘C’ class driver’s licence.
• Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or visa holder with full working rights.
• If not an Australian citizen, must provide documentation of visa conditions and inform the department of any changes.
