Position: Sheet Metal Worker
(Metal Cladding / Insulation Kits – Road Tankers)
Location: Northern Suburbs, Melbourne, Victoria

Pay Rate: $55.00 per hour NT Labour Hire + Super, Overtime, and $27 per day Travel Allowance

About the Role:

TRS Resourcing seeks skilled and qualified Sheet Metal Workers to fabricate Metal Cladding / Insulation Kits for Road Tankers.

Our client is a leading industry manufacturer of dry bulk tankers, fuel tankers, agriculture tankers, and food-grade tankers used across Australasia and exported globally. Due to a robust business pipeline extending well into 2026, our client is expanding its workforce.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing metal cladding and insulation systems on road tankers.

This work ensures that tankers are correctly insulated and protected, maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the transported fluids / dry bulk materials.

• Fabrication and Assembly:
• Installation
• Quality Control

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Relevant Trade qualification
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to sheet metal work.
• Own Hand tools (specialist tools provided)
• Right to work in Australia
• Current residence in Melbourne, Victoria
• Ability to provide reference contact details from two past employers
