Langford Metal Industries has a new position that is needed to be filled.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Sheet Metal Worker for immediate start.

Langford Metal Industries is a manufacturer of Commercial Cooking appliances as well as general sheet metal. We design and fabricate all our appliances from start to finish. Located in Eagle Farm, our factory is easily accessible by all transport. Friendly team with comfortable work environment. The role will involve working on both custom and standard projects using both MiG and TiG. You will mainly be working with Aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel (various widths from 0.7 mm - 8mm).The successful candidate will be experienced in the sheet metal trade (fabrication). A hands-on role, we are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking team player. The candidate will also need to have strong attention to detail, perform precise work and be able to work unsupervised. .

Qualifications & experience

Sheet Metal Tradesman

• First Class Trade qualified Sheet metal worker
• Ability to read and understand technical shop drawings
• Forklift licence

Tasks & responsibilities

• TIG & MIG Welding of Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Mild steel
• General fabrication of sheet metal
• Folding of Sheet metal
