As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Retail Manager to lead their retail operations and drive business success.
About the Role:
Reporting to the CEO & Managing Director, the National Retail Manager will play a key leadership role in shaping and implementing retail strategies, ensuring operational efficiency, and enhancing customer experience across their network. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong operational background who can develop and execute retail initiatives, drive compliance, and optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement the retail, marketing, and compliance programs.
- Develop and execute operating policies, procedures, and workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Lead strategic initiatives to streamline operations and improve customer service.
- Monitor and analyze retail performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and operational execution.
- Collaborate with State Operations Managers to maintain store planograms and layouts.
- Drive health and safety compliance across all retail locations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and suppliers.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and succession planning to develop high-performing teams.
About You:
We’re looking for a results-driven leader with a passion for retail excellence. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in a senior retail operations role, ideally in fuel, convenience, or FMCG.
- Strong ability to develop and execute retail strategies to drive business growth.
- Demonstrated experience in people leadership, coaching, and team development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize retail performance.
- A customer-focused mindset with a track record of enhancing customer experience.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets and business performance.
- Knowledge of compliance, health & safety, and operational best practices.
