Full Time – 5 days per week (Mon to Fri)

85 - 90K per year

Key 2 Learning College is seeking a TAE-qualified Full Time Fieldwork Placement Coordinator/Trainer and Assessor to coordinate fieldwork placements and to plan, deliver, and assess CHC52021- Diploma of Community Services (Case Management)

Our Dip of Community Services qualification (CHC52021) has Provisional Accreditation with the Community Workers Association.

Essential Experience:

At least three years broad industry experience in the community services, social welfare, mental health or similar sector with post Diploma level qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

Diploma or higher qualification in Community Services, Social Work, Youth Work, Mental Health, Community Development, or related area.

Certificate IV Training & Assessment - TAE40116 or equivalent as allowed for by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).

Key Accountabilities and Expected Outcomes:

Coordinate a high-quality program of Fieldwork Placements for CHC52021 – Diploma of Community Services (Case Management)

Oversee Fieldwork Placement preparation and delivery to meet compliance, accreditation and continuous improvement standards

Maintain and expand industry partner relationships and resolve operational and student difficult

Provide pre-Fieldwork Placement briefing sessions to students and ensure all students have necessary clearances, vaccinations etc

Provide pre-Fieldwork Placement briefing sessions to Partner Agencies and oversee qualifications/operational requirements

Conduct Liaison sessions as required, and troubleshoot issues or difficulties as these arise to prevent Placement breakdown

Maintain records/reports and contribute to review and ongoing improvement of Fieldwork Placement materials

Monitor and support students throughout Placement to maximise learning experience, and liaise with internal Student Support functions where necessary

Plan, deliver and assess select Units of Competency using best practice VET approaches

Maintain training delivery plans and records

Other general duties as requested.
